Photography Assistant / Second Shooter

 Processed with Moldiv

Looking to hire one or two assistants / second shooters. Below is a little info about what I am looking for. If you think this is you, send me an email!

What you would do as my assistant/second shooter:

Second shoot during weddings, occasionally shooting on your own. Must feel confident shooting on your own, able to keep shoot lists and time frames organized, and use reliable equipment.

Assist during commercial and editorial shoots. This can include: setting up and assisting with studio lighting, hauling gear, obtaining model releases, organizing, helping with props and wardrobe, and being awesome.

Work with lovely, fun, and creative clients.

Help keep long and busy days organized.

Be encouraged and supported in your own creative photography.

Learn.

You:

Own a DSLR and know how to use it manually.

Familiar with Canon equipment.

Have worked with studio lighting before. (Or willing to learn.)

Have reliable transportation.

Live in Regina, SK or surrounding area.

Have a similar aesthetic to my own, but still have your own style of photography.

Are genuine, creative, respectful, friendly and enjoy meeting new people.

Can stand on your feet, squat and raise your arms about a 1000 times for 10 hours in +30 weather. While smiling! And taking pictures :)

Are ok with working 4 hours one month, and 40 the next month.

Can be available and reliable on Saturday's during the summer.

Works well in chaotic, but fun situations.
