A few weeks back, I was lucky enough to spend some time with artist Joan Scaglione and a studio full of boats. The images were for the invite for her upcoming exhibition at the MacKenzie Art Gallery. And the boats she created are actually suspended from the ceiling. Honestly, it is pretty damn cool. The opening is this coming Friday (info below). I highly suggest you check it out if can.

Meet the artist and explore a small fleet of eighteen cedar-beamed boats, ranging from eight to twenty-four feet in length, sailing across a hundred foot span of the MacKenzie Art Gallery.
